Leading at Integrity: Building Teams of Trust and Strong Social Capital
As many enter 2018 reflecting on 2017, they are aware of two trends within our communities both locally and nationally: there has been a fundamental erosion of trust in multiple contexts. As a result of the erosion of trust there has been a loss of social capital in both personal and organizational settings. The question for many is, “Will this continue?” or, “How do we change what is happening?”
In this workshop we will explore the role and function of effective leadership that:
- Models and nurtures trust,
- Values and sustains Social Capital
- Engages conflict in healthy productive ways, and
- Supports a culture in which forgiveness is a norm.
Healthy and competent leadership is critical if we are to rebuild and sustain communities committed to a Common Good.
