Meet Our Volunteer Teams
The widespread impact of Leadership Kitsap is made possible by the dedication and collaboration of all of our volunteer and staff teams. Together, their efforts strengthen our communities and exemplify the power of collective action.
Our volunteers—which encompass our Board of Directors and all other teams represented below—are the heart of Leadership Kitsap’s success, driving meaningful change throughout our community. Their collective energy, diverse skills, and shared commitment turn ideas into action, amplifying our impact far beyond what any one individual could achieve. By working together, we build stronger networks, foster civic engagement, and create lasting change across Kitsap County. Their efforts not only complete projects—they inspire a culture of service and leadership for future generations.

Carli Meurs is a champion for bold leadership development to strengthen the civic fabric of Kitsap County. She co-founded the South Kitsap Young Professionals, serves as Board President of Moving Mountains Therapy, on the Olympic College Leadership and Business Management Advisory Board, and on the events team for the South Kitsap Public Schools Foundation. As a first-generation degree earner, Carli earned her B.A. in Visual Communication Design, MBA in International Business, as well as the Graduate Certificate in Diversity & Inclusion in the Workplace and is a Certified Community Leadership Practitioner (CCLP) through the Association of Leadership Programs.
Carli lives in South Kitsap with her husband and their two energetic sons, Kip and Kane. She finds joy in global travel, hiking tree-lined trails, and cooking vibrant meals where friends and family gather over a glass of red wine, or juice box.
Amie Glazier
Media & Marketing
Top Clifton Strength: Connectedness
Poulsbo
Amie manages the marketing team and strategy for Leadership Kitsap, promoting LK’s programs and events community-wide. After following her husband’s military career across the country for more than a decade, Amie and her family now live in Poulsbo, where she also serves as the on the board for the Chamber of Commerce.
Stories fuel and shape the way Amie sees the world. She is a life-long learner and is in the final term of her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. In marketing and life, narrative is the backbone to human connection, and Amie loves weaving the threads that connect us all into cohesive storylines.
When she’s not working, writing, or herding her four young kids, you can find Amie binge-reading by the fire, excelling at carpool karaoke, and actually enjoying chemistry while homebrewing beer with her husband.
