The Class of 2019 had their final Challenge Day at the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribal Longhouse in Kingston on June 7, 2019. Kelly Sullivan (LK13), Executive Director Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe welcomed the class. David Emmons (LK14) engaged the class in some lively dialogue regarding the Positive Leadership capacity of gratitude. Gratitude was the theme woven throughout the day as individuals and teams reflected on their Leadership Kitsap experience. Each class member shared their leadership journey in a personal presentation and project teams practiced their graduation presentations.

What’s next for the Class of 2020? Dora Summers Ewing (LK12) encouraged the class to continue volunteering for their community partner, serve on a non-profit board, or give of their time on a Kitsap County advisory board. We wrapped up the day with a final “year in review” class discussion.

Thank you to the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe for hosing us!
